Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance has today (Tuesday) condoled with families of persons who had so far died in the anti-fuel subsidy removal protests.
In a posting on her Twitter handle, Okonjo-Iweala said she was hurt by the deaths recorded in the protests.
Two persons were reportedly killed by policemen in Ibafo, Ogun State on Tuesday; a man was killed by a police officer in Lagos on Monday; while nine persons were said to have been shot dead by policemen in Kano on Monday.
